GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Washington and Lee men's swimming team began its quest for a conference title with a win in the 800 free relay at the 2022 ODAC Championships on Thursday evening.
Highlights from the meet:
-The Generals scored 40 points with the win, and they were followed by Roanoke in second to earn 34 points and Lynchburg in third for 32 points.

Luke Nagel (Wayne, Pa./Conestoga), sophomores
Bennett Ehret (Stamford, Conn./Westhill) and
Will Hughes (Fairfax, Va./James W. Robinson Secondary) and junior
Dawson Kramer (Taylors, S.C./Eastside) made up the relay team for the Generals, as they finished in a time of 6:49.57.
-W&L finished in front of Roanoke's relay by a close 1.20-second margin, followed by Lynchburg with a time of 7:01.92.

The Generals will be back for the second day of the ODAC Championships on Friday, with preliminary events beginning at 10:00 am and finals at 6:00 pm.
