LEXINGTON, Va. – The 20th-ranked Washington and Lee women's swimming team earned its second dual-meet win in as many weekends with a 156-100 decision over Randolph-Macon on Saturday.
Highlights from the meet:
-The Generals placed first in 12 of the 14 events on the day, including both relays, and had eight different swimmers combine for the 10 individual event wins.
-Leading the way was sophomore
Brynn Martinson (Charlotte, N.C. / South Mecklenburg) and senior
Caroline Baber (Richmond, Va. / Collegiate School). Both won two individual races, with Martinson in the 100 free (53.89) and 200 free (1:57.92) and Baber in the 50 free (25.31) and 100 fly (59.76). In addition, they both swam on the winning 200 free relay (1:39.49), while Baber helped the 200 medley relay (1:50.94) to a win as well.

Claudia Barnett (Charlotte, N.C. / South Mecklenburg) also contributed to two wins on the day, as she joined Baber, junior
Sara Gaston (Mechanicsville, Va. / Lee-Davis) and senior
Turner Bobbitt (Charlotte, N.C. / Myers Park) on the 200 medley relay, followed by Baber, Martinson and sophomore
Sophia Rollo (Haddonfield, N.J. / Haddonfield Memorial) on the 200 free relay.
