LEXINGTON, Va. – The No. 19 Washington and Lee women's swimming team earned a pair of wins on Saturday afternoon, defeating Washington College, 200-55, and Centre, 179-88, in a home tri-meet.

-The Generals claimed victory in all but one event on the day and saw eight different swimmers combine for 11 individual wins.

Emily Hageboeck (Charleston, W.Va./George Washington) led the way for W&L with three individual wins and a relay win. She topped the field in the 100 breast (1:06.53), 200 breast (2:22.51) and 200 individual medley (2:12.58) and swam the second leg for the winning 200 medley relay (1:49.02).

Jillian Cantrell (Harrison, Tenn./Girls Preparatory School) was the only other General with multiple individual wins on the day. She placed first in the 100 back (1:00.52) and 100 fly (58.53).

Ali MacQueen (Memphis, Tenn./St. Mary's Episcopal School) contributed to three total wins, securing the top spot in the 100 free (54.79) and helped both the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay (1:39.46) to wins. Senior

Caroline Baber (Richmond, Va./Collegiate School) and first-year
Sara Gaston (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis) rounded out the top W&L performers, as each won one individual race and helped a relay to a win as well.
