LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee women's swimming team emerged victorious in a nonconference dual meet, defeating Mary Washington by a score of 166-93 on Friday night.
Highlights from the meet:
-The Generals combined to win 11 of the 14 events on the night, with seven different swimmers claiming at least an individual victory.
-Junior Ali MacQueen (Memphis, Tenn. / St. Mary's Episcopal School) won two individual races and two relays to pace W&L. Her individual wins came in the 100 freestyle (54.71) and the 100 butterfly (58.57) to go along with her wins in the 200 medley relay (1:49.21) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:41.41).
-In addition to being on the winning 200 medley relay, junior Emily Hageboeck (Charleston, W.Va. / George Washington) logged a pair of individual wins as well, claiming the top spot in the 100 breaststroke, in a pool-record time of 1:06.26, and the 200 breaststroke in an NCAA B-cut time of 2:21.87.
-First-year Caroline Baber (Richmond, Va. / Collegiate School) rounded out the top individual performances with a pair of wins on the night. She was first in the 50 freestyle (24.82) and the 200 individual medley (2:14.61).

-Ashley Johnston – 200 backstroke (2:11.68)
-Kelly Amar – 200 freestyle (1:59.68)
-Anna Jamieson – 100 backstroke (1:00.31)
-Caroline Baber - 50 freestyle (24.82), 200 individual medley (2:14.61)
-Jordan Watson – 500 freestyle (5:18.77)
