LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee wrestling team went 1-2 at the W&L Quadrangular on Saturday afternoon. It defeated Albright College, 46-6, but lost to Centennial Conference-rival Johns Hopkins, 27-19, and Limestone, 22-19.

The Generals (4-3, 1-1) had four wrestlers win all three of their matches. Sophomore Max Courtney (Jeffersonville, Pa./LaSalle College) went 3-0 at 184 pounds, including two wins by pin, while the freshman trio of Peter Lawrence (Greenwich, Conn./Loomis-Chaffee), Anthony Boniello (Katonah, N.Y./Somers) and Jesup Sataloff (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh) also produced 3-0 marks.

Lawrence won all three matches at 149 pounds, Boniello was perfect at 157 pounds, and Sataloff captured all three of his matches at 174 pounds.

W&L returns to the mat on Saturday at the Baptist Bible Quad. The meet begins at 12:00 pm.
