FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's swimming team fell, 108-96, to Mary Washington on Saturday afternoon in Fredericksburg, Va. With the loss, the Generals record now stands at 1-2 for the season.
W&L was led by freshman Clark Barrineau (Charlotte, N.C./South Mecklenburg), who had two first place finishes. Barrineau won the1000 Free with a time of 10:24.13 and the 500 Free by finishing in 5:05.26.
Senior Patrick Frankfort (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass) won the 200 Free, touching in 1:51.25. He also finished second in the 100 Free (51.34) and was a member of the 400 Free Relay team which finished first in 3:20.90.
The Generals' men's will return to action on Friday when they host Salem International for a 5:00 pm match.
