READING, Pa. --Washington and Lee swept a pair of matches at the Albright Triangular in wrestling action on Saturday afternoon in Reading, Pa. The Generals picked up a Centennial Conference victory with a 34-7 triumph over Johns Hopkins and then defeated host Albright, 22-21, in a non-conference match.
Washington and Lee finished the regular season with a 6-5-1 overall record, 2-3 in the Centennial.
W&L was led by junior 125-pounder Ben Segal (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) and junior 197-pounder Ezra Morse (Central Point, Ore./Crater), who each posted two victories on the day. Morse improved his overall record to 19-2 on the season.
Washington and Lee will return to action next Saturday as it competes in the Centennial Conference Championships at Gettysburg College with the action set to begin at 10:00 am.
