The No. 16 Washington and Lee women’s lacrosse team recorded six unanswered goals in the second half as it defeated No. 17 Mary Washington, 16-10, on Saturday afternoon at the W&L Turf Field.

Nine different Washington and Lee players recorded a goal in the first half as the No. 16 Generals cruised to a 21-1 victory over Sweet Briar in ODAC women’s lacrosse action on Tuesday afternoon.

The top-ranked Franklin & Marshall women’s lacrosse team defeated No. 16 Washington and Lee, 16-8, in its season opener on Saturday afternoon at Tylus Field.

Junior attacker Ellie Van Sant (Chevy Chase, Md./The Taft School) totaled three goals and an assist as the 16th-ranked Washington and Lee women’s lacrosse team cruised to a 20-4 victory over Bridgewater in ODAC action on Tuesday afternoon.

The 19th-ranked Washington and Lee women’s lacrosse team used a nine-goal run across both halves to produce a 14-6 victory over St. Mary’s (Md.) on Saturday afternoon at Seahawk Stadium.
