Two Generals Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll
The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) recently announced its 2010 Academic Honor Roll, and Washington and Lee rising seniors Emmy Mathews (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr) and Kate Speare (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) were among those honored.

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference recently released its 2009-2010 All-Academic Team and Washington and Lee once again led the league in number of athletes honored.

The College Sports Information Directors of America released its 2010 ESPN The Magazine men’s and women’s academic all-district at-large teams on Thursday morning and Washington and Lee placed four athletes on the first or second teams for the District III College Division.
