
Third-seeded Virginia Wesleyan used a 14-5 late second half run to pull away for an 85-80 victory over sixth-seeded Washington and Lee in the quarterfinals of the ODAC Mens Basketball Tournament on Friday evening at the Salem Civic Center.

The sixth-seeded Washington and Lee mens basketball team had four players score in double figures and the Generals knocked off 11th-seeded Emory & Henry, 92-60, in first round action of the ODAC Tournament on Tuesday evening at the Warner Center.

Eastern Mennonite used a 21-7 run in the first half to pull away for an 83-62 win over Washington and Lee in ODAC mens basketball action on Saturday evening at Yoder Arena.

The Washington and Lee mens basketball team opened the game with a 14-0 run and first-year guard Jeremy Adkins (Huntington, W. Va./Spring Valley) scored a career-high 23 points as the Generals defeated Roanoke College, 75-53, on Wednesday evening at the Warner Center.
