R-MC (6-7, 2-3 ODAC) tallied its first goal 20 minutes into the contest, when first-year midfielder Katie Brookman sent a shot inside the left post off an assist from sophomore defender Claire Magill. The Yellow Jackets extended their advantage to 2-0, as first-year midfielder Abby Sloan scored off a penalty corner with 6:31 left in the half.

The lead went to 3-0 just a minute and 33 seconds into the second half, as this time Magill scored off a corner. Randolph-Macon put the game out of reach with its fourth goal of the contest in the 45th minute off the stick of sophomore midfielder Maria Ambrogi-Torres.

W&L's (5-8, 3-2 ODAC) lone tally came late in the second half with 6:05 left in the contest. Off a penalty corner, junior Olivia Hewitt (St. Louis, Mo./Visitation Academy) inserted the ball to the top of the circle.

The ball was passed to the left side, and sophomore midfielder Kelly Fennessy (Bel Air, Md. / Roland Park Country School) sent it toward the cage. First-year forward Grace Weise (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Agnes Irwin School) deflected the ball into the left side of the goal for her third score of the season.

The Generals held a healthy lead in shots, 31-18, including a 24-10 advantage in the second half. Each team took 11 penalty corners. Snyder played the full 70 minutes to register her 19 saves, and senior goalkeeper Ariyel Yavalar (Baltimore, Md./Garrison Forest School) stopped nine shots in 70 minutes.
