HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Generals (11-4-5) took a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute of the game. Junior Nick Apostolou lofted a ball into the box, which made its way behind the defense. It was there that senior Willy Hall fired a shot inside the left post for the score.

  • The Hornets tightened up its defense in the second half, allowing just one W&L shot attempt over the final 45. First-year Kaden Zion was responsible for that attempt in the 76th minute.

  • Lynchburg goalkeeper Thomas Viscuso made two saves to help his side to victory.
