W&L Volleyball Sweeps Randolph, 3-0
LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team bounced back from its second ODAC-loss of the season with a 3-0 win over Randolph on Friday night.
The Generals (5-9, 3-2), who fell to 3-2 to Emory & Henry on Tuesday, bounced back from the setback with a 25-22, 25-8, 25-11sweep of the WildCats.
Senior Rachael Phillips (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Prep) led a balanced offensive attack for the Generals with 12 kills. Junior Louise Brooks (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr) added nine kills in only 12 attempts and also had four total blocks. Sophomore Lindsey Dee (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay School) chipped in eight kills.
First-year Cameron Hill (Tampa, Fla./H.B. Plant) posted 15 digs and junior Jenna Finger (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) led the Generals with 28 assists.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday when it takes on Mary Washington at 1:00 pm.
