Four W&L Women's T&F Runners Set PR's at Bison Open

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Washington and Lee women's track and field team had four runners set personal bests on day two of the Bison Open hosted by Bucknell on Saturday.

Senior Annelise Madison (Roca, Neb./Norris) ran her fastest time in the mile in 5:08.25. It was good enough for fourth overall and was the second-best Division III time.

First-year Dana Lee (Nashville, Tenn./St. Cecilia Academy) took second in the long jump at 5.35m (17'06.75"), but had the top Division III mark. She also ran a personal best in the 60m with a time of 8.53.

In the 3,000m, both senior Katie Driest (Davidson, N.C./North Mecklenburg) and sophomore Rachel Solomon (Jacksonville, Fla./Stanton College Prep) finished with a collegiate best. Solomon ended the race in 11:25.02 and Driest crossed the line in 11:45.96.

The Generals return to action next Saturday, February 8, at the CNU Invite.
