W&L Women's Tennis Takes Down Bridgewater, 9-0

LEXINGTON, Va. – The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team took down Bridgewater, 9-0, on Monday night at the Duchossois Tennis Center.

The Generals surrendered just one point in sweeping the three doubles matches, and then continued its winning ways by claiming all six singles victories in two sets.

With the win, W&L improves to 2-0 on the year. Overall, the team has recorded a 44-17 (72.1 percent) singles record, while also posting a 26-7 (78.8 percent) overall doubles record.

The Generals return to the court when they host JMU tomorrow evening.
