LEXINGTON, Va. – The 15th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team blanked Virginia Wesleyan, 5-0, on Friday evening at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
With the win, the Generals are now 6-2 overall and 4-0 in ODAC play, while the Marlins fall to 3-6 on the year.
W&L dropped just three points en route to sweeping doubles action, and then claimed all but two points in winning both singles matches.
The Generals return to action on Sunday, when they face Emory & Henry and Guilford, set to begin at 10:00 am.
