Greg Doyle is in his first year as an assistant swimming coach at Washington and Lee University.
Doyle comes to W&L from SUNY New Paltz, where he was an assistant swimming coach for the 2011-12 season. Doyle helped lead both the men's and women's teams to a fourth-place finish at the SUNYAC Championships, while both were cited as CSCAA Scholar All-America teams. He also helped mentor several athletes to all-conference accolades, while one athlete earned two All-America citations.
A 2008 graduate of SUNY Oswego with a bachelor of arts in public justice, Doyle also served as the assistant swimming coach at the Kingston Hurricanes (2007-11) and as the pool director and lifeguard at Wiltwyck Golf & Country Club (2001-08).
As a swimmer at SUNY Oswego, Doyle was a three-time All-America honoree. He set five individual school records and was a member of two record-setting relay teams en route to posting All-SUNYAC honors all four years. A member of the school's SAAC committee, he was a CSCAA Scholar All-America selection in 2006.
