FOREST, Va. – Washington and Lee sophomore Rachael Wright (Roanoke, Va./North Cross) was named to the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's golf team that was announced on Wednesday.
Wright was selected to the third team, one of just seven golfers league-wide to receive all-conference recognition.
Wright finished third at the 2014 ODAC Championships that concluded on Tuesday at Rock Barn Golf Club in Conover, N.C. She carded a three-day score of 80-78-83—241.
For the season, Wright led the Generals with an 84.9 stroke average across 13 rounds played. She was a second team all-league selection as a rookie when she notched an 86.5 average over 13 rounds.
Randolph-Macon sophomore Olivia Bowling was named the ODAC Player of the Year, while Hollins' Shannon Ciccarello was named the ODAC Rookie of the Year. R-MC's Leighann Albaugh was honored as the Coach of the Year and Hollins senior Elizabeth Cheng was named the ODAC/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Washington and Lee completed its season with a third-place finish at the conference championship event.
