CONOVER, N.C. — The Washington and Lee women's golf team shot a 360 in the second round of the 2014 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Golf Championship held at Rock Barn Golf Club on Monday, and is currently third out of three teams with a two-day total of 720.
Randolph-Macon holds the top spot in the event with a 683, after posting a 336 on day two. Bridgewater sits in third (710), following a score of 358 in the second round.
The Yellow Jackets' Olivia Bowling leads the individual competition of 18 golfers with a 77-73-150. W&L sophomore Rachael Wright (Roanoke, Va./North Cross) is eight strokes behind in second at 80-78-158.
Sophomore Lydia Barit (Paget, Bermuda/Middlesex School) is ninth, after carding an 88-90-178, while sophomore Sara Moir (Roanoke, Va./Hidden Valley) posted a 95-95-190 to sit in 14th. First-year Katelyn Degnan (Saint Petersburg, Fla./Canterbury School) is 15th with a 97-97-194, and sophomore Nicole Kasica (Greensboro, N.C./Northern Guilford) rounds out the Generals in the field with a 102-97-199 that ranks 16th.
The championship concludes on Tuesday with the third and final round from Rock Barn.
