W&L Women's Golf Resides in Third-Place at ODAC's
CONOVER, N.C. – The Washington and Lee women's golf team shot an opening round 360 and is currently third of three teams at the 2014 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Golf Championships held at the Rock Barn Golf Club on Sunday.
Randolph-Macon leads the three team field with a score of 347, followed by Bridgewater in second with a 352.
Individually, Randolph-Macon's Olivia Bowling leads the way with a 77 that ranks first out of 18 golfers. W&L sophomore Rachael Wright (Roanoke, Va. / North Cross) is tied for third-place with an 80.
Sophomore Lydia Barit (Paget, Bermuda / Middlesex School) shot an 88 and is tied for eighth, while sophomore Sara Moir (Roanoke, Va. / Hidden Valley) is 14th with a 95. First-Year Katelyn Degnan (Saint Petersburg, Fla. / Canterbury School) is 15th with a 97 and sophomore Nicole Kasica (Greensboro, N.C. / Northern Guilford) rounds out the Generals in the field with a 102 that ranks 17th.
Action continues on Monday with the second out of three rounds from Rock Barn.
