CONOVER, N.C. – The Washington and Lee women's golf team finished second out of two teams at the ODAC Preview held at the Rock Barn Golf Club on Sunday.
Randolph-Macon won the event with a team score of 326, highlighted by a 78 from Olivia Bowling that was the lowest individual score in the field of 17 players. The Generals shot a team score of 370.
W&L was paced by sophomores Rachael Wright (Roanoke, Va./North Cross) and Sara Moir (Roanoke, Va./Hidden Valley), who both carded an 86 to tie for ninth-place. First-year Katelyn Degnan (Saint Petersburg, Fla. / Canterbury School) posted a 94, while sophomore Nicole Kasica (Greensboro, N.C. / Northern Guilford) recorded a 104.
Washington and Lee will return to action on October 7-8 when it hosts the Generals Invitational at the Lexington Golf & Country Club.
