Wright and Moir Named to All-ODAC Women's Golf Teams

CAPE CHARLES, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its all-conference women's golf team on Tuesday and Washington and Lee claimed two selections.

First-year Rachael Wright (Roanoke, Va. / North Cross) was named to the second team, while first-year Sara Moir (Roanoke, Va. / Hidden Valley) claimed third team honors.

Wright played 13 rounds for the Generals in 2012-13, posting a team-best 86.5 scoring average.  She finished in a tie for seventh at the conference championship, posting a two-day score of 94-90—184.  She shot a low round of 80 en route to placing fourth overall at the W&L Invitational.

Moir played 12 rounds during the year and finished with an 88.5 scoring average.  She placed 11th at the ODAC Championship with a score of 95-94—189 and she shot a low round of 77 en route to finishing second at the W&L Invitational.

Hollins junior Elizabeth Cheng was tabbed the ODAC Player and Scholar-Athlete of the Year, while Randolph-Macon first-year Olivia Bowling was selected as the Rookie of the Year.  Yellow Jacket Head Coach Leighann Albaugh was named the ODAC Coach of the Year.
