
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Four Generals turned in place-winning performances at the IHSA Regionals on Saturday, hosted by the University of Virginia.
Senior Tamara Morse (Bristow, Va./Brentsville) posted a first-place finish in the open flat, automatically qualifying her for the IHSA Zones. She was also third in the open over fences.
In the walk-trot-canter, first-year Sarah Ward (Dayton, Va./Turner Ashby) recorded a top three finish taking third place. Senior Camille Cobb (Huntersville, N.C./Harding University) was fifth in the walk-trot, and junior Molly Rountree (Andover, Mass./Phillips Academy) placed sixth in the intermediate over fences.
W&L will next see action on March 3 when they compete at the Collegiate Cup.
