W&L Riding Ties for Third at Bridgewater Invitational

BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- The Washington and Lee riding team racked up five Top 3 placings en route to tying for third out of 11 teams at the Bridgewater IHSA Invitational on Saturday.

First-year Sarah Ward (Dayton, Va./Turner Ashby) produced the Generals' top finish on the day by taking home the blue ribbon in the walk-trot-canter.  Senior Tamara Morse (Bristow, Va./Brentsville) placed second in the open flat and third in the open fences events, while senior Camille Cobb (Huntersville, N.C./Harding University) took home third place in the walk-trot.
