    ODAC Releases 2013-14 Academic All-Conference Team The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its 2013-14 All-Academic Team on Monday and Washington and Lee once again led the league in number of athletes honored.

    W&L Claims the 2014 ODAC Overall Sports Champion Cup For the 12th-consecutive year, Washington and Lee University has claimed the Dan Wooldridge Overall Sports Champion Cup, as announced by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference on Tuesday. The Generals claimed both the Women’s Commissioner’s Cup and the Men’s Commissioner’s Cup on their way to the overall title.

    A Record Number of W&L Students Earn Winter Scholar-Athlete Awards Washington and Lee Director of Athletics Jan Hathorn has announced that a record 210 students earned Scholar-Athlete awards during the recently completed winter term. The students are all members of W&L athletic teams and achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.500.

    Numerous W&L Students Earn Fall Scholar-Athlete Awards Washington and Lee Director of Athletics Jan Hathorn has announced that 190 students earned Scholar-Athlete awards during the recently completed fall term. The students are all members of W&L athletic teams and achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.50.

    Strehler Leads W&L Men's XC to Third at ODAC's Led by first-year Mac Strehler (Moseley, Va./Trinity Episcopal School), the Washington and Lee men’s cross country team finished third at the ODAC Championship hosted by Hampden-Sydney on Saturday. It marked the best finish for the Generals since taking third in 2009.

    W&L Men's XC Finishes Ninth at Paul Short Run The Washington and Lee men’s cross country team finished ninth out of 42 teams in the white race at the Paul Short Run on Saturday. Muhlenberg claimed the top spot with 131 points, Juniata was second (141) and Franklin & Marshall took third (188). The Generals ended with 310 points.
