Generals' Men's Cross Country Earns 6th-place Finish at ODACs

BEDFORD, Va. -- Washington and Lee's men's cross country team finished in sixth place out of 10 teams at the ODAC Championships hosted by Lynchburg College on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Kane Thomas (Seattle, Wash./Shorewood) was W&L's top finisher, posting a time of 27:16.00 to finish in 18th place. 

Senior Matt Gossett (Atlanta, Ga./Wesleyan) finished in 22nd with a time of 27:23.10 and senior Ryan Henner (Avondale Estates, Ga./Chamblee) posted a time of 27:39.20 for a 26th-place finish.

Junior Tyler Gehrs (Alexandria, Va./St. Andrew's) and senior Robert Warneford-Thomson (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal) added Top 30 finishes, placing 29th and 30th, respectively. Gehrs had a time of 27:47.90 and Warneford-Thomson ran 27:49.80 

The Generals will return to action on Nov. 12, when they travel to Sequin, Texas for the NCAA South/Southeast Regional beginning at 12:00 pm.
