NEW YORK, N.Y. — On Friday, the Washington and Lee men's track and field team took a handful of athletes to compete at the Lafayette-Rider Winter Games at the Armory in New York. The meet consisted of Division I, II and III competitors.
Junior Agustin Kim (La Habra, Calif./Troy) took 10th overall and second in D-III in the 60m with a time of 7.17. He also set a lifetime personal best in the 200m at 23.13.
In the shot put, sophomore Eddie Barnes (Ashburn, Va./Broad Run) set a collegiate best with a throw of 13.72m (44'00.25"). Junior David Fishman (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) was fourth among Division III athletes in the pole vault at 4.05m (13'03.50").
First-year Levi Warring (Williamsburg, Va./Lafayette) recorded a collegiate personal best in the mile at 4:34.73.
The Generals return to action on Saturday, February 16, at the VMI Winter Relays at 9:00 am.
