W&L Men's Track & Field Takes Part in VMI Winter Relays
LEXINGTON, Va. -- Three members of the Washington and Lee men's track & field team took part in the VMI Winter Relays on Saturday afternoon.
First-year Aaron Jeong (Federal Way, Wash./Thomas Jefferson) led the Generals with a second-place finish in the 55m, posting a time of 6.64 seconds.
In the 55m hurdles, sophomore Dillon Myers (Foxborough, Mass./Foxborough) ran an 8.28 and he also set a personal-best mark in the shot put with a distance of 9.94 meters.
Sophomore Jordan Yost (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) also had a PR in the shot put, recording a mark of 11.45 meters.
The Generals return to action on Friday when they compete in the ODAC Championships beginning at 1:00 pm.
