LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team won its fifth straight match with a 9-0 victory over Shenandoah on Tuesday evening at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
The Generals won all but seven games in sweeping the doubles points and then dropped just nine total games in winning all six singles matches in straight sets.
With the win, W&L improved to 8-3 overall and 8-0 in the ODAC. Shenandoah fell to 5-3 overall and 2-3 in league play.
Washington and Lee will now break for finals before returning to action on April 15 with a match at Georgia Gwinnett at 10:00 am.
