LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team defeated Randolph College by a score of 9-0 on Thursday at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
The Generals barely slipped by at No. 1 doubles, winning 9-7. However, W&L easily took No. 2 and 3 doubles by a score of 8-0 and then dropped just six games in singles en route to sweeping all six singles points.
The win improved W&L to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the ODAC. Randolph fell to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the ODAC with the loss.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Friday when it hosts Guilford for a 4:00 pm match.
