LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee men's tenis team cruised to a 5-0 win over Guilford on Wednesday afternoon at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
The Generals dropped just three games in sweeping the three doubles points, and then notched straight-set victories at Nos. 1-2 singles to post the win over the Quakers.
W&L improved to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference, while Guilford fell to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in the ODAC.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Monday when it hosts Roanoke for a 4:00 pm match.
