LEXINGTON, Va. -- The National Collegiate Athletic Association has announced the fields for the 2011 NCAA Division III men's and women's tennis tournaments and Washington and Lee will participate in both tournaments.
The W&L men will serve as a host site for the first, second and third rounds of the tournament and has received a first-round bye. The Generals (15-3) will take on North Carolina Wesleyan (12-2) in a second-round match on Saturday at 10:00 am. Elizabethtown (12-5) and Grove City (11-2) will meet in a first-round match on Friday at 11:00 am and the winner will take on Emory (20-3) in a second-round match on Saturday at 2:00 pm. The third-round match will be played on Sunday at 12:00 pm.

The W&L women will travel to Pittsburgh, Pa., where Carnegie Mellon will serve as the host site for the first, second and third rounds. The Generals (18-6) received a first-round bye and will play the winner of a Thursday first-round match between Ithaca (10-9) and Wilkes (15-1) in the second-round on Friday at 1:00 pm. The third round match will be on Saturday at 9:00 am. The host Tartans (11-8) will play Elizabethtown (12-5) in the first-round, while Moravian (10-6) and Mary Washington (16-8) will meet in the other first-round matchup.
