ATLANTA, Ga. -- The 25th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team returned from an 18-day layoff to produce a 7-2 victory over Oglethorpe University on Monday afternoon in Atlanta.
The Generals took five of the six singles positions and two of the three doubles slots in defeating the Stormy Petrels.
With the win, W&L improved to 11-6 overall, while Oglethorpe fell to 15-9.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Tuesday as it travels to third-ranked Emory for a 3:00 pm match with the Eagles.
