2009-10: Lettered as a first year … will
compete for a spot among the top eight singles positions and top
three doubles teams this spring … completed the fall portion
of the schedule with a 3-3 singles record and a 1-2 doubles ledger.
2008-09: Earned First Team All-ODAC honors at No. 2 singles and was selected as the ODAC Co-Rookie of the Year … notched a 19-8 record while playing primarily at No. 2 singles … also posted a 14-9 doubles record while playing with various partners at numerous positions … tied for the team lead in singles wins … won the first singles flight at the ODAC Singles Championship during the fall season.
High School: Earned four letters as a member of the varsity tennis team at Etowah High School … helped lead the squad to a trio of region championships and one appearance in the state final … received team MVP honors in both singles and doubles as a senior … named the County Player of the Year as a senior.
Off the Court: Father, Paul ’80, graduated from W&L … also had an uncle (Will Cantler ’76) and cousin (Sarah Kavanugh ’03) that graduated from W&L … undeclared major.
