W&L Men's Swimming Finishes First at R-MC Invitational
The Washington and Lee men’s swim team wrapped up competition at the Randolph-Macon Invitational on Saturday evening with 767.5 points to finish first out of nine teams.

W&L Men's Swimming Sits in Second at R-MC Invitational
The Washington and Lee men’s swim team earned 210.5 points on day one of the Randolph-Macon Invitational on Friday and are currently second behind R-MC (217) at the two-day meet.

The F&M Invitational
W&L swimming competed in the Franklin & Marshall Invitational on Nov. 21-23 in Lancaster, Pa. The Generals completed a tremendous weekend as both the men and women finished in second place at the three-day event. Here are some highlights courtesy of the team.

The Washington and Lee men’s swim team wrapped up competition at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational on Sunday evening. The Generals finished second with 609.5 points behind Stevens Institute of Technology (1005.5).

The Washington and Lee men’s swim team picked up 389.5 points on day two of the Franklin & Marshall Invitational to stay in second place behind Stevens Institute of Technology (618.5).

First-year Tommy Thetford (Birmingham, Ala. / The Altamont) won two individual events to lead the Washington and Lee men’s swimming team to a 1-1 record in a tri-meet at Carnegie Mellon on Saturday afternoon.

This weekend our men’s team competed against Hampden-Sydney and our women’s team against Sweet Briar. While both teams won their meets, for me this weekend was less about our swimming and more about our team.
