Sophomore midfielder Ted Hurst (Rochester Hills, Mich. / Rochester Adams) netted the game-winning goal for the Washington and Lee men’s soccer team in a 1-0 victory over Hampden-Sydney on Saturday evening at Hellmuth-Pritzlaff Field.

Virginia Wesleyan junior midfielder Josh Kemp (Frisco, Texas/Addison Trinity Christian Academy) scored in the 61st minute to lift the Marlins to a 2-1 victory over Washington and Lee in ODAC men’s soccer action on Saturday afternoon at Watt Field.

Junior defender Cary Carabasi (Bryn Mawr, Pa. / Harriton) scored with less than 10 minutes left in regulation to lift the Washington and Lee men’s soccer team to a 2-1 win over Catholic on Saturday afternoon at the CUA Soccer Field.

Generalssports.com Athlete of the Week Zach Colby (9-2)
Senior forward Zach Colby recorded a hat trick in the 3-0 victory at Sewanee on Saturday. His performance against the Tigers, and also his play in the 2-1 victory against Hendrix on Sunday led to him being named the first Generalssports.com Athlete of the Week for the 2014-15 school year.
