LEXINGTON, Va. — The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) released its 2018 Division III Regional Coaching Staff of the Year winners on Thursday, and Washington and Lee earned the honor in the South Region.

Head Coach Gene McCabe, along with assistant coaches Eric Koch, Will Corrigan, Chuck O'Connell, Matt Chriss, Doug Hirsh, Hunter Yates and Luke Langford garnered the accolade.

The Generals finished the year 15-5 overall with a perfect 9-0 mark in ODAC play. The Blue and White produced a 14-game winning streak during the season, which tied for the second longest in program history. W&L received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the third round, before falling to Dickinson, 10-9, in overtime.

McCabe also set the program's all-time wins record this season and now has a 144-73 (.664) mark in 12 seasons and is 71-22 (.763) in conference play.
