LEXINGTON, Va. – On Friday, October 25 the Washington and Lee men's lacrosse team will host cross-town rival VMI for the 27th annual Lee Jackson Lacrosse Classic.
This year's game will help raise awareness and funds for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, better known as ALS. Tony Conway, a dear member of the Lexington Community with ties to both schools, has been diagnosed with the disease. The teams will be seeking donations during the contest, but if you'd like to donate prior to gameday, you can do so by visiting the website for the Packard Center of Johns Hopkins University at http://www.alscenter.org/donate.
The game will begin at 7:30 pm on Wilson Field and you can follow from home via livestats at http://athletics.wlu.edu/livestats/mlax/xlive.htm or via the radio call courtesy of WLUR at http://www2.wlu.edu/x37490.xml.
