The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its 2013-14 All-Academic Team on Monday and Washington and Lee once again led the league in number of athletes honored.

W&L Tabs Eric Koch '05 as Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach
Washington and Lee Director of Athletics Jan Hathorn has announced the appointment of Eric Koch as assistant men's lacrosse coach and assistant professor of physical education. Koch begins his appointment on July 1.

USILA Anounces its 2014 Postseason Division III Awards
The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its 2014 Division III All-America team and Scholar All-America team, along with the rosters for the USILA/LaxWorld Division III North-South Senior All-Star team on Tuesday and Washington and Lee was represented in all three.

Four Washington and Lee student-athletes have been named to the 2013-14 Capital One Academic All-America All-District At-Large teams as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and announced on Thursday.

W&L Claims the 2014 ODAC Overall Sports Champion Cup
For the 12th-consecutive year, Washington and Lee University has claimed the Dan Wooldridge Overall Sports Champion Cup, as announced by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference on Tuesday. The Generals claimed both the Women’s Commissioner’s Cup and the Men’s Commissioner’s Cup on their way to the overall title.

Third-seeded and 10th-ranked Lynchburg used a six-goal run over the third and fourth periods to post a 12-9 victory over second-seeded and 20th-ranked Washington and Lee in the semifinals of the ODAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament on Saturday at Kerr Stadium.

A Record Number of W&L Students Earn Winter Scholar-Athlete Awards
Washington and Lee Director of Athletics Jan Hathorn has announced that a record 210 students earned Scholar-Athlete awards during the recently completed winter term. The students are all members of W&L athletic teams and achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.500.

The Washington and Lee men’s lacrosse tied the school record for goals in a game with a 29-3 victory at Randolph on Saturday. It marked the fourth time a W&L team has totaled 29 goals, with the last coming in a 29-5 win against Goucher in 1997.
