PERRY, N.Y. -- The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced the rosters for the 2010 Division III North-South Senior All-Star game, which will be held on Fri., May 28 at 3:00 pm on the campus of Goucher College.
Washington and Lee senior attackman Will Keigler (Timonium, Md./Gilman) and senior midfielder Kevin Feeney (Summit, N.J./Summit) have both been selected to participate for the south squad.
Keigler was selected after starting all 17 games during the 2010 season and leading the team in scoring with 63 points on 29 goals and 34 assists. A First Team All-ODAC selection at attack this spring, he completed his career ranked sixth on the school’s all-time scoring list with 212 points. He also finished third all-time in assists (110) and is one of just four players in school history with more than 100 goals (102) and 100 assists. Keigler was a First Team All-ODAC and Honorable Mention All-America pick following the 2009 season.
Feeney was chosen to the south all-stars as a short-stick specialist after garnering First Team All-ODAC honors this spring. He finished fourth in the conference in faceoff percentage (85-147, .578) and tallied 13 points on 12 goals and one assist. For his career, Feeney totaled 29 goals and six assists and he ranks second all-time with a .645 career faceoff percentage.
With their selections to the 2010 south roster, W&L has now had 107 players selected to participate in the game since 1942. The duo will be joined on this year's team by Kyle Jett of Hampden-Sydney, Ethan Farrell and Shane Roscher of Lynchburg College and Sam Love, Steve Simmons and Matt Quinton of Roanoke College.
Washington and Lee finished the 2010 season with an 11-6 overall record and a 4-3 ODAC mark. The Generals advanced to the semifinals of the ODAC Tournament before falling to Roanoke College.
