CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. – The Washington and Lee men's golf team shot a 317 on the longer Gold Course on Sunday in the final round of the Marine Corps Intercollegiate at the Paradise Point Golf Club.
Washington and Lee completed the invitational with a score of 304-317—621 led by the play of first-year Todd Alan McDonald (Little Rock, Ark. / Little Rock Christian), who carded a 73-73—146.
First-year Conley Hurst (Little Rock, Ark. / Episcopal) and sophomore Teddy Corcoran (Rochester, N.Y. / Brighton) rounded out the Generals in the 180-player field. Hurst shot 78-83—161 and Corcoran carded an 80-83—163.
Washington and Lee returns to action on April 13-14 when it plays in the Mirimichi Invitational hosted by Rhodes College at the Mirimichi Golf Club in Millington, Tenn.
