W&L Baseball Continues Its Fight Against Breast Cancer

LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington and Lee baseball team will be hosting its second annual breast cancer awareness game this Saturday, March 15. In conjunction with the Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure, the event will begin at 11:00 am, with the Generals taking on Guilford in a doubleheader at 12:00 pm.

The team will be selling custom made t-shirts for $20 a piece all week in front of Elrod Commons. All profits from the sales will go directly to the charity. W&L will also be accepting donations over the course of the doubleheader.

A tailgate begins at 11:00 am at the Liberty Hall Ruins for fans before the baseball and women's lacrosse games. All in attendance are encouraged to wear pink.
