W&L Baseball Moves Doubleheader Against R-MC to Sunday
LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington and Lee baseball team's scheduled ODAC doubleheader against Randolph-Macon on Saturday has been moved to Sunday, starting at 1:00 pm.
The wintery mix the Lexington area received on Friday morning made Cap'n Dick Smith Field unplayable for Saturday.
The Generals (8-2, 2-0 ODAC) most recently swept Lynchburg in a doubleheader on Sunday, and have won six games in a row. Sophomore catcher Riley Stout (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) has a team-best batting average of .409 (9-for-22), and senior Nate Plein (El Cajon, Calif./St. Augustine) leads the pitching staff with a 3-0 record. He also has a 3.57 ERA in a team-high 17.2 innings.
