W&L Baseball Postpones Wednesday's Game Against Bridgewater

LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington and Lee baseball game against Bridgewater scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed due to snowy conditions making Cap'n Dick Smith Field unplayable. The contest will now be played on Wednesday, April 2, at 4:00 pm.

The Generals (8-2, 2-0 ODAC) most recently swept Lynchburg in a doubleheader on Sunday, and have won six games in a row. Sophomore catcher Riley Stout (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) has a team-best batting average of .409 (9-for-22), and senior Nate Plein (El Cajon, Calif./St. Augustine) leads the pitching staff with a 3-0 record. He also has a 3.57 ERA in a team-high 17.2 innings.

W&L next plays a doubleheader at home on Saturday against Randolph-Macon, which starts at 1:00 pm.
