LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington and Lee baseball team's ODAC contest at Bridgewater scheduled for Wednesday has been pushed up to Tuesday at 3:00 pm. The game was moved due to the forecast of snow for most of the day on Wednesday.
The Generals are currently 7-4 overall and 2-0 in the conference after sweeping defending league champions, Lynchburg, at home this past Saturday. Junior outfielder Keegan Dolan (Bethesda, Md./Landon) leads the team with a .463 (19-of-41) batting average, while junior Jake Rudolph (Cordova, Tenn./Memphis University School) has appeared in six games (9.0 innings) without allowing a run. He leads the team and is tied for the ODAC lead with three saves.
The Eagles enter Tuesday's game with a 7-1 overall record and are 2-0 in the league after taking two from Randolph-Macon on Saturday. Senior third baseman Andrew Hacker has a conference-best .545 (18-of-33) batting average. First-year Justin Petcock has a 0.00 ERA in two appearances (9.2 innings) and one start.
