Dolan Named ODAC Baseball Player of the Week

FOREST, Va. — Washington and Lee junior outfielder Keegan Dolan (Bethesda, Md./Landon) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending February 10, as announced by the league on Monday.

Dolan led the Generals to a sweep of Rochester (Mich.) on Saturday in the first two games of the season. The left fielder finished the day 5-for-6 with four doubles, four runs, a home run, four RBIs and a steal of home. He has an .833 batting average, an .833 on-base percentage and a 2.000 slugging percentage.

In the first game, he was 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run. The Generals scored eight runs in the first inning of the contest, which were the most runs in an inning for W&L since the beginning of the 2009 season. In the second game, Dolan went 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs, three runs, a home run and a steal.

The Generals host New Jersey City this Saturday for a doubleheader at 12:00 pm.
