W&L'S MILLER TABBED TO ALL-SOUTH REGION SQUAD

MARYVILLE, Tenn. -- Washington and Lee second baseman David Miller (Oak Hill, Va./Oakton) has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-South Region Honorable Mention Baseball Team, which was announced recently.

The 2007 Baseball ODAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Miller started all 32 games for W&L, totaling a .362 batting average and leading the team in at-bats (141), hits (51), doubles (13) and RBI (30). Miller ends his career second all-time at W&L in career hits (185), career at-bats (506) and career batting average (.366) and third all-time with 95 RBI.

The Generals concluded the 2007 season with an 18-14 overall record after making their fifth-straight trip to the ODAC Tournament.
