SALEM, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced its weekly conference awards for the week ending March 11 and Washington and Lee garnered the Hitter of the Week for baseball and the Player of the Week in men's tennis.

Senior second baseman David Miller (Oak Hill, Va./Oakton) was named ODAC Hitter of the Week, while junior Nat Estes (Charleston, S.C./Porter-Gaud) was tabbed as the men's tennis Player of the Week.

Miller paced the Generals (11-3, 5-0) from the plate as W&L posted a 4-0 record last week. He combined to hit 9-for-21 (.429) and tallied four doubles, one homerun and nine RBI. In a 4-1 win over Guilford on Wednesday, he tallied a solo homerun, while batting 2-for-5. He followed that up with a 4-of-7 performance from the plate with two doubles and four RBI in a 17-4 win over Eastern Mennonite on Saturday. On the season, Miller leads W&L with eight doubles, posts a .344 batting average and is tied for team-best with 16 RBI.

Estes helped the W&L men's tennis team to a 4-0 week by going 4-0 at No. 2 singles and 3-1 at No. 1 doubles. Estes went 2-0 in both singles and doubles in ODAC wins over Hampden-Sydney and Randolph-Macon as the Generals extended their winning streak against ODAC opponents to 50-straight matches. He also helped W&L to a 5-4 win over 17th-ranked Denison on Saturday by winning 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and then teamed with Tim Ross to knock off the Big Red’s top doubles team by a score of 8-2.
