LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee field hockey team earned the number one seed in the ODAC Tournament for the first time in program history and will host eighth-seeded Sweet Briar in the quarterfinals on Sat., Oct. 29 at 5:00 pm.
The winner of the game will play the winner of the game between fourth-seeded Randolph-Macon and fifth-seeded Eastern Mennonite in the semifinals on Fri., Nov. 4 at the W&L Turf Field should the Generals defeat the Vixens.
During the regular season, the Generals won a school-record 12 games and a school-record seven ODAC games. They are also riding a school-record eight-game winning streak heading into the ODAC Tournament.
