W&L MEN'S BASKETBALL PICKED EIGHTH IN ODAC PRESEASON POLL

SALEM, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's basketball team was picked to finish eighth out of 10 teams in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll which was released on Thursday afternoon.

Randolph-Macon sits atop the poll after receiving six first-place votes. Hampden-Sydney was picked second (four first-place votes), followed by Roanoke, Virginia Wesleyan, Emory & Henry, Guilford, Bridgewater, Washington and Lee, Eastern Mennonite and Lynchburg.

The Generals return four starters and seven letterwinners from last season's team which finished 7-18 overall, 4-14 in the ODAC.
