W&L MEN'S SOCCER ATTAINS NATIONAL RANKING

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's soccer team is ranked 24th overall in the latest NSCAA Division III Poll released Monday afternoon.

The Generals are ranked third in the NCAA South Region and trail just Greensboro and Christopher Newport in the regional poll.

W&L claims an overall record of 7-1-1, 6-0 ODAC. On Saturday afternoon, W&L knocked off then 15th-ranked Roanoke, 3-1.

The Generals will look to improve upon their record as they play a pair of games at Savannah College of Art and Design this weekend. W&L will play SCAD on Friday at 5:00 pm and Guilford at 1:00 pm on Saturday.
